My mom has dementia and has been in nursing care since June. She became qualified mid September. She spent a few weeks in skilled which delayed the 3 month period. Since that time they commencement just paid a small portion and were behind. Each time they said paper work was not filled out properly or they did non receive information technology. Finally after multiple calls and threats they caught upward and she received money only before my dad ran out of coin. This facility is modest and is familiar with the newspaper work and what is needed. It Starts again. They say they take not received the paperwork. My sister has been involved but now I will. I will written report them to the Kansas Insurance commissioner and going to start calling the local idiot box stations. I know they are lying. They need to be investigated.

I "ditto" all the issues that people have written Consumer Diplomacy. Bankers Life seems to need more and more than information and threatens to close my request for benefits. When will it end? Their client service agents are polite, but not skilled, and you really need to talk to someone college up to get true information. Do non believe their customer service agents, your merits being "approved", only ways you are eligible to file a claim. They don't accept "everything" because they will have another request ane week later. They work with faxes, so don't expect efficient emails. They will not copy you on requests to providers, withal you are responsible for making sure Bankers has all data. It requires hours and hours on the phone.

Broker's Life refuses to accept bills from a nursing abode proverb over and over that the forms are not filled out correctly. They are a nightmare to try to work with. Do not requite them whatever money. They only want to proceed what has been deposited with them and non return it to the client.

I purchased a long term care insurance in 2015. Unfortunately while on a trip on July of 2019 I suffered an acute ischemic stroke and became handicapped for life. Later on two years of endless Physical Therapy, Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, Vestibular Therapy sessions I suffer from all ADL,s plus neuro cognitive and retention problems.
Since day 1 I accept had a struggle with first getting approved. Fighting with them daily from August xv subsequently I was finally released from the hospital later fourteen days and 2 major surgeries to approve my long term claim. I needed a caregiver since day 1 of my stroke (paid out of pocket). The start cheque I saw from them was in October. Three months of telephone calls and frustration. I accept been harassed fourth dimension and time once more. Crucified by them. They accept not paid me for a year of services. Each time a different alibi. I have appealed my merits more than ten times. Each fourth dimension taking 2 to three months. I am sick. I am on medications. I am on antidepressants and Bankers Conseco killed me this past year. They are ruthless. Heartless. Even though I have brought them endless letters from my attending drs that I Am chronically ill That I have issues with all ADL's they notwithstanding find a different reason to harass me and not pay my caregiver.
They have put me through hell. They have roasted my heart and soul and in improver they cancelled my insurance even though I paid for information technology with no reason at all. What a waste of my precious money this past half-dozen years where I blindly paid them. I accept already spoken with an attorney and I will offset taking proper action. I have given them way likewise much time and opportunity. Main indicate for G-Da sake exercise not purchase a long term insurance from Bankers, Bankers conseco, Washington mutual. All are the same company. Different names. Same waste material of your money. I accept cried then many days because of them.

My two sisters and I have spent countless hours contacting Bankers Life almost our mother'due south long term care insurance. Nosotros accept made I'm sure, more than 50 telephone calls to them trying to get payment for my mother's care in an assisted care facility. Every bit so many others have constitute, they filibuster and delay, and stall using many dissimilar tactics. Most often they say they accept not received the documents even though we know they have been sent. Phone calls are not returned and promises to resolve are not kept. They will do anything to prevent paying out! Stay away from this company.

Banker'due south Life and Casualty Company does non pay legitimate claims and if they practice pay, they do not pay on time. They lie straight to your face up with no remorse or business concern. If you practise not track the payments, they will only happen to skip a payment. They intentionally were maxim, "...your October and November claims..." They intentionally left out the September claim payment; had I non asked almost information technology, they would have intentionally not paid it. Here it is January v and the September and October payments are nowhere to be establish. This is normal and quite frankly is calumniating to my 87 year old mother that in skilful faith signed a contract and made all of the payments on fourth dimension. Is this different than other LTC insurance, sadly for the American people, probably not. So beware! Keep expert records! You are going to need them. If anyone reading this has the email addresses of CEOs and the like, delight post.

I am my mother's ability of chaser. She has been diagnosed with dementia, and also suffers from seizures. She doesn't eat unless she is reminded and tin not cook for herself. Her short term retentivity is gone and has difficulty reading and understanding what she reads. Afterwards existence her primary caregiver for several years, I was unable to proceed. I started the process for assisted living dorsum in March and information technology has been nothing but red tape and lies since then. Her claim was denied and we are now having to get a attorney.
This company is a rip off. Doing enquiry I accept to come to observe out they accept been sued multiple times in several successful class action suits. They are not going to help you, then be prepared to jump through hoop after hoop and listen to lie afterward prevarication. I am contacting both country and federal agencies along with the media. We are obtaining letters from specialists, and infirmary records to begin our appeal. Please please save your money. You are improve off without this, it is a complete waste of money and should you lot e'er need to use it, you will fight molar and boom and even so not see any benefits. Anyone else having problems I urge you to achieve out to the media, and any agencies you can then nosotros can get this company investigated.

Banker'south Life is not a customer focused company. They are only in it to get your money and now with a new long-term care administrator, they have figured out how not to pay claims. Their communications arrive three months from the date shown on the "change to a new administrator" alphabetic character and 2 months after the effective engagement of change. They exercise not tell you how to make a claim in the letter almost the change then you take to phone call and talk to their claim people who are trained to be robots and show no empathy or intendance about the situation this company has put my family in.
They say they've mailed iv divide checks just none accept arrived. They owe u.s.a. $9000 now but we tin't submit any claims until they get things set on their terminate. A person has been assigned to our business relationship and is supposed to telephone call me. The timeframe for a return call is ten days...and he'due south out of the office this week. Yous can't make this stuff up! RUN, RUN, and DO NOT Purchase ANYTHING FROM THIS Visitor.

Then many detailed complaints go into an absolutely horrible rating this company has received. My experience with them on behalf of parents in memory intendance is but typical. They simply volition avoid payment, never render calls, filibuster all advice and WILL probably never payout on a claim that they agree is correctly documented and owed. 6 months in a nursing home and nonetheless no payments, just promises that it will go reviewed past example manager to run into what happened. 1/2 hour to 1 hour on concord each time for a customer service person to expect up account and say the same thing each time. Never e'er buy anything from this horrible system. The only way to get their attending is to sue them and they are located to the most crooked state of Illinois. Starting down the conform process today.

My mother has dementia/Alzheimer's and is residing in a long term care facility. She will not recover or leave the facility. Just every month Bankers Life requires monthly reports on her progress. The facility sends information technology in and Bankers Life seems to lose the info delaying payment. The last episode occurred for May 2020 payment. We were informed a new 3rd political party was going to be handle claims starting June one. They said they did not receive the May report facility filed it final of May. Erstwhile processing company recorded information technology received info, but never processed claim. And so I was reviewing payments and noticed I had not recorded a May payment.
I contacted Bankers Life on 7/20/20 well-nigh non payment and they relayed story of fashion it was not processed and then explained one-time visitor did non process information technology. And they would expedite information technology claim. And I would expect a check in 5 to 10 concern days. Fast forward to 7/31/2020, I called customer service and representative relayed that was sent to expedite department but was never processed and he said I would receive a cheque in 5 to 10 concern days. He said he was sorry, simply lamentable does not pay long term intendance bills. Warning if y'all need assistance, do not expect it from this company stay away. And last problem, bankers life does not utilise direct deposit for payment. They mail paper checks for merits payments, I think they practice non utilise direct payment is bladder. If they used direct deposit there would be an immediate subtraction from their account. But 5 to vii days before check is cleared is float they make money on.
